After 30 years of hairdressing, it seemed like an easy transition to continue helping women in a way that empowered them just as I had done behind the chair for decades. But this time, it was different. When I faced my own health challenges, particularly during peri-menopause, I was met with a lot of confusing and often misleading advice from the medical community. Instead of finding support, I was left feeling lost and disconnected from my body.
I realized that so many women, like myself, were being handed one-size-fits-all solutions that didn’t address their unique needs or experiences. This frustration drove me to take control of my own wellness journey and find answers that actually worked for me. That’s when I decided to shift my focus from beauty to holistic wellness.
